A look through the bay window of the Build A-long
project.. I did not add any lights in this house nor non-working lamps/light fixtures. In
the past I have not been so successful with applying tape wire or round wire to
electrify the Victoria’s Farmhouse. In
fact I got so frustrated, that I decided not to use any. And I decided to avoid this altogether for the Townhouse. However, I
couldn't help wondering what the Townhouse/Spa would look like with lights, so I used a book light
to get the effect of lighting. Here are
the results:
Hi MC, the light really adds life to your building. Installing the lights can be tricky but in the end it's worth it. I still haven't installed any lights in Marram House. If I am taking photographs I use 2 photography daylight lamps to light the scene out. It works for now ;p But one of these days I really need to start installing the lights. Okay I am going to read your previous post, trying to catch up with everyones posts. Everybody has been creative and busy. Hugs AM

DeleteA lot of people use Christmas LED lights so that they don't have to install anything permanently but can still take photos with lights in. That sounded so much clearer in my head...O_o Or you could buy those led lights with batteries in the bottom that just stick to a ceiling.

DeleteHi Shawn! I also haven't install lights in my canal house yet, but I think it will add more realism and atmosphere to your house. I surely can imagine your feelings of disappointment after your attempt for installing the lights in your Victoria's Farmhouse, but maybe you can try some flickering faux candles lights with LED lights, just as Pepper suggests?
